Put away the Christmas deco FINALLY today. That was my miracle- that it didn't stay up another week. Why is it that I get it up so quick, but then it takes HOURS to take it down and put it away?
Don't feel too bad...I've taken all of mine down, but have yet to put it away. It's all waiting in the landing right below the ladder to the attic. The problem is it's a 2-man job (someone to stand on the ladder to put boxes into the attic, and someone to hand up the boxes), which requires 2 equally motivated adults...at the same time. *sigh* Oh well...I'm just hoping we put it away before July, because by then I might as well just leave it out for Christmas 2010.
It's gotta be a genetic thing then, I didn't get mine put away until Wednesday, and that's only because someone was coming over Thursday morning, and it seemed really slacking to still have the stuff up. Now all we need to hear from is when Christi got hers put away--she probably beat us all though...sigh.
We met in our single's ward. One summer night in May 2006 at a ward barbecue. We talked a lot and Paulo asked me out the next Sunday, and our first date was to Café Río. Since we dated for longer than what most people are used to, the common question among family and friends was "When are you going to get married already!?" But we kept on dating and slowly developing our relationship into a strong friendship. On September 29th, 2007 we went to Paulo's mission reunion. As we were about one mile away, it started to snow. In the middle of falling snow, with no one around, Paulo aked me to marry him. The answer was of course YES! Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 10:30 am we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah temple. The weather was perfect and even so sunny that Paulo got a tan while outside taking pictures! The reception was everything we had imagined and dreamed of. It was the perfect day, and a perfect start to an eternity of friendship and love.
